We're looking for a proactive Warehouse Co-Ordinator to support our fast-paced chilled food manufacturing operation. This is a
hands-on leadership role where you'll support the Warehouse Supervisor, deputise in their absence, and play a key role in ensuring
safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations across ambient and temperature-controlled environments.

About the role: As Line Co-Ordinator, you will:
Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of 5–15 warehouse operatives
Delegate tasks effectively to maximise productivity and labour utilisation
Oversee inbound deliveries and outbound dispatch to ensure accuracy, quality, and traceability
Ensure safe loading and unloading of vehicles using MHE in line with all H&S, Technical, and Factory procedures
Deputise for the Warehouse Supervisor when required, including managing holidays, sickness, absences, and return-to-work
processes
Key Responsibilities
Complete pre-start checks on all departmental equipment, including recycling and waste equipment
Ensure MHE is operated safely and correctly, reporting defects and VOR equipment promptly
Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety, GMP, and Food Safety standards
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards using CAYGO (Clean As You Go)
Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to achieve maximum output
Monitor performance and ensure the most effective placement of operatives
Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support to new starters
Maintain FIFO, traceability, and stock rotation at all times
Ensure accurate data entry into System 21 / Marco
Keep accurate records and ensure audit readiness (internal & external)
What We're Looking For
FLT Licence
Experience working in a warehouse environment (FMCG desirable)
Food Safety Level 2
Health & Safety Level 2
Strong communication skills and a good level of English
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Experience in chilled or food manufacturing environments
Previous experience leading or supporting warehouse teams
