We are working with an excellent business in Greater Manchester who are looking to bring an Assistant Accountant into the finance team, they are a global out-fit with best in class onboarding, training and development opportunities. Assistant Accountant – The Role: * Periodic reporting to clients * Ensuring accurate reconciliation of client reports i.e vat & client statements * Instructing the treasury department of the collection of monies, transfer of monies to a client, amendments to accounts, payment of client property related transactions, general maintenance of clients funds. * Manage and maintain service charge funds * Manage housekeeping of client funds * Liaise with the property service charge team to ensure that cashflow/funding for each property service charge is adequate * Deal appropriately with any property transfers * Carry out frequent housekeeping and cleansing of all cash balances held Assistant Accountant – Background: * Maintain membership of any required professional bodies * Have at least 3 years experience within an accounting position * Strong accounting/financial skills to at least technician, PQ or QBE * Excellent attention to detail * Excellent communicator * Strong team player * Maintain any qualifications required for your role Assistant Accountant – Benefits: * £32-34k * Hybrid working * Extensive retail benefits * CPD courses * Training and development opportunities.
