ABOUT THE ROLE
About the role:
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for (but not limited to):
1. Cost estimating
2. Regular reporting to the client
3. Facilitating cost control from inception through to completion
4. You will be expected to advise on contracts, warranties, professional appointments, and all other legal aspects of projects.
5. Employers Agent duties
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a Cost Consultancy and will be allocated major projects due to start in January (£20mil+)
There is an expectation that the successful Quantity Surveyor will show the necessary ability to push on to become part of the management team within a relatively short period of time.
REQUIREMENTS
About the requirements:
6. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor needs to have experience in managing a range of projects. A mix of public and private would be beneficial.
7. A balance of working on new build and refurbishment would be ideal.
8. Exceptional client-facing skills are a prerequisite as is the ability to manage projects ranging in value.
9. Strong Consultancy experience, preferably with in-depth knowledge of the London market
