Position: Early Years Strategic Development Officer - fixed term until 30/04/2027
Location: Waverley Court
Salary: £37,626 - £44,257 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional
The Early Years Development Officer will be a key member of the Early Years team, supporting the delivery of early years content through vocational training programmes. The role involves developing the workforce and establishing best practice standards within the sector to meet SQA quality assurance targets.
This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory clearance of these checks.

Our salary range typically starts at the initial salary and increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
