<div><h2></h2><p><span>Job Description:<br></span><span><br></span><span>About our team...<br></span><span><br></span><span>Airbus Helicopters is the world&rsquo;s largest helicopter manufacturer and the company&rsquo;s site at Oxford Airport is Britain&rsquo;s civil helicopter hub.<br></span><span>AHUK offers considerable experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support. Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support,<br></span><span>maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications. AHUK is the MoD&rsquo;s chosen provider of helicopters and maintenance for its No.1 Helicopter Flying school (referred to as MFTS) located in RAF Shawbury (Shropshire) and RAF Valley (Anglesey).<br></span></p></div><div><h2></h2><ul><li>The Reward: Why Join Airbus?</li></ul></div><div><h2></h2><p><span>As the Deputy Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Regional Engineering Team. As the first point of contact for our customer&rsquo;s AOG and line maintenance needs, your tasks will include liaison with customers and their respective ops teams, co-ordination of the regional engineering team, monitoring and control of deferred defects and husbandry items and liaison with Oxford Base Engineering.<br></span><span><br></span><span>Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will also deputise when he is absent to maintain continuity and appropriate liaison with the business and customers.<br></span><span><br></span><span>The role is predominantly working from home, however you may be required to attend customer facilities, Airbus locations and potential overseas trips at the request of the company / customer.<br></span></p></div><div><h2></h2><ul><li>Main Responsibilities</li><li>Effectively plan line maintenance activities in liaison with the customer, planning and AHUK Customer support teams</li><li>Supervise and manage a nationwide engineering support network</li><li>Maintain the line planner and availability record sheets</li><li>Prepare and provision spare parts, workpacks and engineers to task</li><li>Monitor and control the deferred defects, husbandry defects and technical queries when applicable</li><li>Dependably deputise for the Regional Manager during periods of absence to maintain continuity</li><li>Work with the Regional Manager to react to AOG&rsquo;s and unplanned emergent work</li><li>Carry out staff competency assessments when required</li><li>Attend customer sites when required</li><li>Liaise with Oxford Base engineering teams pre and post base maintenance interventions for effective handovers</li><li>Assist the Regional manager with Line station oversight and customer liaison activities when required</li><li>Ensure adherence to company policy and procedure</li><li>Ensure compliance to regulation and assist with audits as required</li><li>Assist with the investigation and rectification of non-conformances</li><li>Knowledge &amp; Skills</li><li>Essential</li><li>5+ years experience on Airbus Helicopters products</li><li>Troubleshooting experience</li><li>Understanding of Part 145 and Part CAMO regulations</li><li>Experience of both line and base maintenance requirements of Airbus Helicopters products</li><li>Customer liaison experience</li><li>Exposure to a variety of customer types</li><li>Mission and role equipment knowledge</li><li>Desirable</li><li>Operational planning experience</li><li>CAMO experience</li><li>Line station management</li><li>SAP and Envision familiarity</li><li>Education, Qualifications or Training</li><li>Essential</li><li>B1.3 or B2 UKCAA Part 66 Licence with Airbus Helicopters type ratings (At least EC135 and H145)</li><li>Driving license</li><li>Desirable</li><li>C rated UKCAA Part 66</li><li>Dual rated B1.3 and B2</li><li>BEng or BSc in Engineering or similar</li><li>Additional requirements</li><li>This position is subject to National Security Vetting. Candidates must be able to obtain SC clearance, which generally requires having lived in the UK for the last five years. All successful applicants will also undergo a mandatory BPSS check</li><li>Applicants must meet any/all requirements of Export Compliance Regulations including UK and ITAR regulations</li><li>All candidates must possess the current, legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
