Key Responsibilities

Assemble wooden furniture and other wood-based products to a high standard, ensuring precision, quality, and attention to detail.

2. Building: Assemble prepped components into complete carcasses such as wardrobes, desks, lockers, beds, and bespoke wooden projects.
3. Second Fix: Fit doors, drawers, hinges, locks, runners, and other hardware to finish and quality-check completed furniture.
Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly paperwork, and measurements accurately to ensure precise builds.
Confidently and safely operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, sanders) and measuring equipment such as tape measures and squares.
Handle and move wooden panels and components safely — including heavier items — throughout the production process.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced workshop environment, supporting multiple production stages as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, following all company health and safety procedures.
Meet tight production schedules while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and attention to quality.
