Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Yardman/grounds keeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be required to be able to work solo using his own initiative. This role is essential for maintaining our outdoor spaces, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Duties
* Perform minor landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming gardens and hedges, spraying and minor weeding, keeping tidy a yard and stores, washing and cleaning vans on a weekly basis, washing and cleaning plant when required, delivery's and collections using a van and working on site if required.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as a yard forklift or van.
* Carry out general maintenance tasks to keep the yard and equipment in optimal condition.
Requirements
* Proven past experience.
* Knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
* A back ground in construction is preferred but not necessary.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude.
* A clean driving licence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
