You work well in a team to ensure the food and drinks served look and taste fantastic, always delivering with integrity and passion. You share the courteous and hospitable values of your Managers, making recommendations, engaging in friendly conversation, and answering questions promptly.
You understand the importance of business mechanics; using promotions and recommendations to help your venue achieve profitability and growth, and ensuring all bills are recorded and paid accurately.
Maintaining a clean and tidy section, following health and safety standards, and ensuring your department is inviting and well-presented at all times are essential parts of your role.
Key Responsibilities
* Be a team player – communicate well and collaborate with colleagues and other departments to enhance customer experience.
* Be smart and friendly – present yourself professionally and stay calm and courteous, even during busy shifts.
* Be organized and tidy – multitask efficiently, prioritize customer requests, and keep your workspace neat and attractive.
* Prioritize safety – demonstrate awareness of allergen safety, covid safety, and adhere to health and safety procedures and licensing laws, reporting risks to your managers.
* Become a product expert – know your offerings inside out, from garnished drinks to Instagrammable table settings.
* Handle stock and cash confidently – use EPOS systems accurately for orders and payments.
* Be eager to learn – participate in online courses, reading, and on-the-job coaching to develop your skills.
