Partner with the best
Production Control Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing shift of technicians within the PCS workshop, reporting into the Operations Lead.
As a Production Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Ability to lead a team effectively and resolve technical and personal challenges encountered on the shop floor
* Plan and organise workshop activities to ensure business priorities are met
* Ability to adjust and coordinate workshop priorities at short notice to meet customer and business needs
* Collaborating with other departments/functions within the Montrose COE as well as building relationships with the Controls COE at Nailsea
* Carry out maintenance and repair of technical, mechanical and electrical equipment / production equipment before and after shipment offshore
* Creating a positive working environment and atmosphere to allow the team to achieve their targets
* Promote and improve HSE culture on the shop floor
* Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the whole team to ensure Quality Metrics are reviewed and actions implemented to improve this.
* Strong knowledge of Subsea Controls Systems, including software / electrical expertise
* Work closely with Software engineers to diagnose and resolve software issues
* Proven experience of both mechanical and electrical as a technician or similar
* Work closely with Ops Lead to ensure shop floor targets are defined and achieved on a daily / weekly basis
* Provide cover for Ops Lead when they are on leave
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and closely with customers whilst on site
* Work closely with QC to ensure documentation is signed off and procedures are correctly followed
