Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our dental team, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable and professional environment. Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment
* Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
* Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
* Support patients with their queries, offering reassurance and clear communication throughout their visit
* Manage appointment scheduling and organise patient flow efficiently
* Uphold strict hygiene and health & safety standards within the practice
* Support with administrative duties such as stock management and ordering supplies
Requirements
* Proven experience in patient care, preferably within a dental or healthcare setting
* Good command of English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills
* Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems
* Strong organisational skills to coordinate appointments and maintain clinical standards
* Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* A caring attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional patient service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£15.00 per hour
