Join a Busy, High:Volume Fresh Food Kitchen as Head Chef
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to take the lead in a thriving pub and restaurant serving fresh, quality food to over 2,500 : 3,000 covers per week.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a fast:paced, high:volume kitchen, delivering exceptional food and maintaining consistent brand standards. You'll have full responsibility for the kitchen team, menu quality, and operational performance, supported by a forward:thinking management team that values career development and progression.

Key Responsibilities
As Head Chef, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating, and developing a high:performing kitchen brigade
- Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including:
o Stock control and ordering
o GP management and costings
o Labour planning and rota management
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency in a fast:paced environment
- Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards
- Training and mentoring junior chefs to support career growth within the team
- Working closely with management to develop menus and seasonal specials

About You
We're looking for a hands:on Head Chef who can bring energy, leadership, and creativity to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience running a high:volume fresh food kitchen (2,000+ covers per week)
- Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire a team
- Solid knowledge of kitchen finance, stock, and labour controls
- A passion for delivering exceptional food and a great guest experience
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain high standards
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
