Grade: UE05 £29,588 - £33,951 per annum

Job Overview
You will play a key role in the delivery of the University of Edinburgh’s Research Contracts Service. You will work closely with a team of contract specialists to provide a high-quality research contracts service for the university.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the drafting, review and management of research contracts.
* Provide expert legal advice to internal and external stakeholders on research-related agreements.
* Cooperate with the Research Operations Directorate to ensure integrated, user-focused services.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in SharePoint and other document management systems.
* Assist in training and professional development activities for the contract team.
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong command of the English language and attention to detail.
* Proactive planning, prioritisation and initiative.
* Good IT skills across Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
* Experience working independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant legal or contractual background.
* Experience with research contracts or similar agreements.
* Knowledge of university procurement and research governance procedures.
