Join as a Sister / Charge Nurse, PERRT with the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The PERRT Band 7 role is suitable for nurses with significant experience in intensive care and critical care outreach who wish to advance in all four pillars of the advanced practice framework.
Key responsibilities:
* Assess patients already under PERRT review.
* Respond to 2222 calls across the site.
* Deliver resuscitation training.
* Support junior PERRT colleagues.
* Assess and manage risks.
* Liaise with multiple MDT colleagues.
* Engage in reflective learning from events.
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Significant experience in intensive care nursing (minimum required).
* Experience with critical care outreach.
* Strong leadership and clinical decision‑making skills.
Professional development:
* Support to undertake advanced life support courses (adult and paediatric) and a Level 7 advanced physical assessment module within 6‑12 months.
* Opportunity to undertake the MSc ACP at City, University of London.
* Access to RCUK, ALSG, MERRT, and CQUIS courses.
