Responsibilities
1. Manage and work on statutory audits from planning to completion.
2. Lead audit teams, taking responsibility and ownership of each project’s completion.
3. Ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
4. Serve as a key contact for clients during fieldwork and follow-ups.
5. Review the work of associates and seniors.
6. Research issues and propose solutions for review by Partners or Directors.
7. Oversee the overall management and execution of audits.
8. Report directly to Partners and Directors.
9. Manage your own portfolio of clients.
10. Deliver high-quality audits.
11. Identify client needs and respond appropriately.
12. Manage work and billing for client assignments.
Requirements
1. Ability to provide proactive advice to clients.
2. Experience working with complex reporting structures and groups, including component auditors.
3. Ability to delegate tasks and seek support when necessary.
4. Ability to recognize audit risks and their implications on business, especially regarding controls.
5. Full professional qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent.
6. At least 6 years of experience in external audit.
7. Experience working with Pension Funds clientele.
