Lead Clinician – Strawberry Lane School
In this role you will manage our in‑house Clinical Team, work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead, and deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need. You will also be responsible for line‑management of the onsite clinical team and lead on the service development of the clinical school‑based service.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinically lead the team and hold a clinical caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH).
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members.
* Lead service development of the clinical school‑based service alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team at each site to provide vital provision in collaboration with education teams.
* Ensure safeguarding and a person‑centred, empowering approach.
* Generate clear and concise reports relating to clinical and research activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Professional qualification in Psychotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
* At least 5 years post‑qualification experience, ideally including leadership and management.
* Valid and up to date professional registration & membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS, RCSLT, RCOT).
* Experience within the specialist client group, working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a clinical team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred.
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Salary & Contract
£50,000 – £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8.30am‑4.30pm.
