What difference will you make?
We are a fairly new, very small but charity but are already changing outcomes for victims of gender-based violence (GBV), and your help would allow us to deliver crucial information and support to survivors of GBV. The information and support we seek to provide provide is critical to our success, as it provides resources for the marginalised communities which is not commonly available, or which these victims would not typically access. Together, we can create hope and change lives.
What are we looking for?
Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team / organisation / users Understands the resource constraints of a small charity and is able to work with these. Experience conducting a variety of user research studies with relating to marginalised women or vulnerable groups. Creative in approach to research and able to adapt your plan to work within constraints Experience of creating trauma informed research plans or the willingness to learn Can turn research data into clear findings that inform decisions. Can understand the diversity of users and can effectively include these kinds of users in appropriate research to help teams deliver accessible information
What will you be doing?
Content Research Thinking through our target audiences' information needs and how we can present that effectively these are GBV victims, those who want to support GBV victims, donors Work with social media team to research and source content for use across various channels Research relevant and current topics for social media posts, blogs and articles Identify content for Case study writing and storytelling that we can use on our website, in marketing materials, or in our annual report. You will be working with our content team who will provide an overview of our existing content, marketing materials, as well as our content strategy and brand guidelines.
