Job Overview
The Head and Neck cancer clinical nurse specialist team is seeking an innovative and dynamic individual with appropriate nursing skills to join our established team of cancer specialist nurses, surgical consultants, and support workers. This is a substantive Macmillan band 7 post at 15 hours per week. The base location is Glangwili Hospital, with travel expected to other hospital sites within the health board to support services and service delivery. The Head and Neck service is part of the planned care service within the surgical division.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have knowledge and experience of Head and Neck pathologies and/or cancer. We seek a flexible, self-motivated team player with a passion for high-quality, person-centred care. Excellent communication skills are essential, and a willingness to develop academically and clinically is encouraged. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not mandatory; applications in Welsh are welcomed.
Main Duties
* Organise and manage a caseload, providing specialist nursing support, advice, education, and care.
* Act as a key worker for diagnosed cancer patients, offering expert holistic assessment and care.
* Participate in clinical practice, education, research/audit, and implementation of national guidelines.

Interviews are scheduled for 16/06/25. The organisation operates a bilingual policy, and applicants are encouraged to apply in Welsh if preferred.
