Roel: Engineering Compliance Analyst
Salary: 35k-42k
Bonus: 7.5% annually
Contract: Permanent, remote working (UK based).
Role Overview
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring engineering compliance across the portfolio, delivered through the Government Property Agency (GPA) supply chain, and for managing the Compliance Plan.
Reporting into the Engineering and Asset Management Lead.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage the Compliance Plan and statutory mapping requirements across the portfolio, in line with current legislation and the portfolio asset register.
* Ensure suppliers maintain technical compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Produce reports on compliance activity, performance, failures, and remedial action plans; harmonise supply chain reporting.
* Institute best-practice procedures, strategies, and implementation plans for compliance and risk mitigation.
* Monitor supply chain operations to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Use the CMMS to utilise asset management information and generate compliance reports.
* Act as the point of contact providing support and guidance to the GPA, operational teams, and supply chain to ensure compliance with contract requirements, statutory legislation, and maintenance of building services equipment.
* Develop and manage a portfolio-wide programme of statutory and mandatory requirements, including annual reviews and associated inspection and audit programmes.
* Conduct an annual reconciliation of all records held on the CMMS.
* Issue a monthly change log detailing updates to statutory and mandatory records.
* Ensure all compliance data is uploaded into the Digital Platform.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems and terminology.
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
* Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks and statutory inspection legislation.
* Experience in mechanical and electrical asset management and working in a compliance management role.
* Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Desirable
* UK Government Level 1B Security Check (SC) clearance.
* Qualification in maintenance, compliance, project management, or CMMS management.
