Overview
We’re expanding our team at CrossReach due to increased demand. At Carraig View, you’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting children through everyday moments, helping them feel safe, supported and ready for the future. You’ll lead by example, guide colleagues in practice, and shape care plans as part of daily life with the children in our care.
Role location: Carraig View. You’ll work as part of a team to shape care plans, support children in daily life, and help colleagues grow in their practice.
In This Role, You’ll
* Lead on care planning and keyworker responsibilities
* Support and guide colleagues in therapeutic practice
* Build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families
* Model approaches that focus on the why behind behaviours, not just the what
We’re seeking someone with significant experience in care or education, with an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3. A full manual driving licence is required for outings, and a reflective, compassionate approach that inspires others. Ideally, you will also have Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) Level 1 or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards it.
Even though we’re a large charity, people matter here. Your ideas are valued, your growth is supported, and the children receive care that is personal and individualized.
When you'll be working
You’ll work a mix of early, late and weekend shifts on a 3-week rolling rota. There may be occasional sleepovers, for which you’ll receive an additional £58.50 per night.
