We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Manager to run the business every day. The best candidate will be well-organised, have great communication skills, and be focused on providing great customer service. The Petrol Station Manager is in charge of making sure that the gasoline station runs well and makes money. This includes making sure that customers are happy, that the station follows all rules and regulations, and that it meets company standards. This job includes directing a team, running the daily operations, overseeing shop and fuel sales, making sure safety and environmental standards are met, and meeting financial goals.
Main Duties
* Oversee and organise all parts of station operations, such as the car wash, fuel pumps, convenience store, and forecourt.
* Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
* Keep an eye on stock levels, order fuel and retail goods, and handle connections with suppliers.
* Take care of cash management, daily reconciliation, and make sure that financial reports are correct.
* Follow all health, safety, and environmental rules, such as those for fire safety and preventing spills.
* Look at sales and performance statistics to find patterns, keep track of budgets, and put plans for improvement into action.
* Make sure that the store looks well, the equipment is in good shape, and the forecourt is clean.
* Quickly and professionally deal with client issues.
* Make sure that all employees follow the rules of the company, the law, and the brand.
Skills and Requirements
* Experience managing a retail store or gas station is required.
* Good at leading and managing a team.
* Great at talking to people, solving problems, and keeping things organised.
* Knowledge of money and the ability to do basic accounting and reporting.
* Knowing the health and safety rules that apply to selling fuel.
* Willingness to work on weekends or holidays and at other times that are convenient for you.
* The ability to work alone, handle a lot of work quickly, and provide excellent service.
