About the Ward: Avocet is a 21-bed sub-acute elderly medicine and rehabilitation ward. Patients are admitted with long-term medical conditions such as respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and orthopaedic conditions.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of the ward and patient-centered care, while seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills. We welcome applications from nurses of all experience levels, including newly qualified.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
2. Supervising junior staff and teaching both qualified and unqualified staff.
3. Collaborating effectively within the multidisciplinary team to meet service objectives.
4. Supporting the Matron/Sister in ensuring the ward's efficient and safe daily operations.
