We are seeking to appoint a part-time Administration Supervisor as a temporary one-year job share. This is an exciting opportunity to assist with the coordination of the school office. Previous school experience is preferable but not essential. The hours available are Monday afternoons and all-day on Thursdays.

Caldew is a well-established, popular secondary school in the Dalston area of Carlisle. We have over a thousand students and are oversubscribed. We have good resources and facilities and a rich programme of visits and extra-curricular activities.

The supervisor(s) have a pivotal role in the administration of our school and will perform a number of functions including:
• Working with the Business Manager to coordinate the work of our Admin Team.
• Take a lead role in the planning, development and organisation of support systems and procedures.
• Help maintain the content of the school website.
• Take a lead role in the development and maintenance of records and information systems.
• Perform line management functions within the Admin Team including performance management, recruitment and training.
• Assist the Business Manager in relation to securing service contracts, contingency and business continuity.
