About the Role Join us in providing person-centred support that truly makes a difference! You’ll help people with physical and mental health needs in their homes and communities, supporting daily routines like meal preparation, medication, and household tasks, while also helping them enjoy activities they love, whether it’s choir, arts & crafts, or pedal-powered adventures. You’ll encourage independence, nurture friendships, and support people to explore volunteer opportunities and new experiences. Duties could include: Providing personalised support tailored to individual needs. Offering emotional support and positive encouragement. Completing light household tasks and basic administrative duties. Bringing fresh ideas and helping to improve ways of working. Checking and digitally recording medication stocks and personal finances in line with policy. What are the pay and benefits? Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with mental health needs or learning disabilities, is desirable but not essential. We provide full training and ongoing development to support your success in the role. Competitive salary of £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour) Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift Waking night rate: 20% Enhancement from 11pm to 7am Enhanced DBS which we will pay for 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 27 days after 1 years’ service or cash equivalent of 1 days’ annual leave Pension scheme.
