You will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of Sociology, ensuring all teaching, marking and assessment meet Awarding Body and Quality Assurance requirements. You will contribute to the development of an innovative and responsive curriculum, maintaining schemes of work, lesson plans, individual learning plans and course documentation. As part of an excellent and collaborative team, you will actively engage in curriculum development, team and centre meetings, as well as wider events such as open evenings and parents’ evenings. The role also involves working closely with curriculum leaders, progress tutors, support staff and external partners to support student recruitment, induction, monitoring and review. You will track and evaluate student progress, contribute to functional skills delivery, and support effective planning, performance monitoring and operational development.
