HR Advisor – Permanent Opportunity
📍 Liverpool City Centre Office-Based | £35,000 | Full-Time
A leading, privately owned UK business is expanding — and looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team. Working closely with the Head of HR, you’ll be a key player in driving a people‑first culture, supporting managers, and ensuring HR operations run like clockwork. From employee relations to onboarding and L&D, this is a hands‑on role where you’ll make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
* Be the go‑to for HR advice, guidance, and policy support
* Manage HR processes across the full employee lifecycle — onboarding, performance, L&D, and benefits
* Draft and manage contracts, offer letters, and payroll data with precision
* Keep HR systems and employee records up to date and compliant
* Support disciplinary, grievance, and absence meetings with professionalism and care
* Administer employee benefits including pension, medical, EAP, and Death in Service
* Coordinate induction, probation, and appraisal processes
* Provide sound HR and ER advice, ensuring compliance with UK employment law
* Contribute to HR reporting and support wider HR & L&D projects
About You
You’re a confident HR professional with a passion for people, process, and progress. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and bring a proactive, solutions‑driven approach to everything you do.
You’ll bring
* 3+ years experience in an HR Advisor role with hands‑on ER experience
* Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
* Strong admin and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
* A hands‑on, can‑do mindset
