Weat Connect Health are delighted to be growing our team of talented cliniciansand are currently looking for a Clinical Specialist in Pain who is passionateabout providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a largemultidisciplinary team in the East Sussex Pain Services.
Theservice in Sussex provides a tailored approach to the individual service user.The successful candidate will be required to work a hybrid working patternfacilitating face to face clinics in a number of sites in the Sussex andHastings area, Pain Management Programmes both face to face and online andtelephone reviews. They will be joining a multidisciplinary team ofphysiotherapists, nurses and wellbeing practitioners who are committed andpassionate about providing a biopsychosocial model of care to people withpersistent pain.
Main duties of the job
Mainduties of the role will see the successful post holder utilising theirspecialist skills to
Assesspatients requirements, in relation to their goals. Plan, manage and reviewfunctional and psychological restoration for individuals and groups.
Reviewcare plans at timely intervals and communicate effectively with the patientsGP, advising on ongoing and flare up management plans agreed with the patient.
Providesafe, effective and dignified care according to best practice and nationalguidelines.
Toprovide advice and treatments to individual patients within best practice andnational guidelines.

Previousexperience in delivering pain services with tangible results.
Currentvalid registration with your relevant professional body or equivalent regulator(HCPC or NMC)
Akeen and enthusiastic clinician with a commitment to providing excellent,personalised care as part of a multidisciplinary team
Anunderstanding of the impact of chronic pain in the wider community and howcollaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresseshealth inequalities
Abilityto work as an autonomous practitioner, within scope of practice and deliver aquality clinical service meeting the clinical and operational needs of the Painservice with senior support as required.
Tocontribute to the development of, and promote a positive and dynamic image andculture to both internal and external stakeholders. At all times striving toreflect and encourage our core value behaviours
Todevelop and foster productive relationships with local stakeholder groups,charities, GPs, and other potentially productive links.

Qualifications
Essential
1. NMC/HPC Registration
2. Desire and ability to work as part of a team
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Genuine interest in facilitating patients to improve self-management
Desirable
5. Degree/ Diploma in Pain Management
6. Evidence of specialist training in pain management
7. Member of a special interest group
8. Ability to engage in audit and evaluation
9. Able to review medication and advise GP
