We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 5-bed children’s home, supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and additional needs. You will oversee the smooth daily running of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulations
* Provide operational oversight and drive consistent standards of care
* Recruit, train, and develop staff into a motivated, skilled team
* Implement safeguarding policies and accurate record keeping
* Manage budgets, resources, and the upkeep of the home
* Build strong partnerships with external agencies and professionals
* Deliver regular reports to the Responsible Individual and senior management
* Resolve safeguarding or operational issues effectively and promptly
Essential Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous management experience in residential childcare
* Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills
* Ability to motivate and develop staff teams
* Commitment to child-centred care and emotional wellbeing
