Assistant Accountant / Part-Qualified AccountantBelfast (BT17)Salary c.£30,000 DOEMcKinty Associates are delighted to be working with a global manufacturing client who as an immediate need for an experienced Assistant Accountantto support their Finance Shared Service Team with financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.**This position offers exam support and hybrid working**Key Responsibilities:Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingSupport month-end and year-end close processesIntercompany processing with multiple entities in multiple currenciesCompleting weekly Bank Reconciliations and assisting with cashflow forecastsMaintain financial controls and ensure accurate recordsPrepare statutory accounts and management reportsRespond to accounting queries and support system usersConduct financial checks and help resolve compliance issuesAny other Relevant ad hoc finance or business support activities as requiredEligibility criteria:Recent experience working as part of a busy accounts team (3-5 years experience)Strong understanding of core accounting principles.Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages.Strong IT skills including a high level of expertise in use of Microsoft Excel.Be highly numerate and comfortable working with multiple sources of information.Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload.Ability to work within a team.Strong planning and organising skills.Good numeracy and time management skills.Keen eye for detail.Applications for this role will be considered immediately with a view to placing the right individual ASAP, so please register your interest early.
