Civils Project Manager Glasgow We are recruiting for an experienced Civils Project Manager to join a well-established infrastructure contractor delivering a wide range of construction and rail-related projects across Scotland. Based in Glasgow, you will take full ownership of projects from early planning through to handover, ensuring safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery. The Role: As Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality standards. You will manage client interfaces, monitor performance, proactively resolve issues, and ensure full compliance with industry and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead civils projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery against scope, time, cost and quality targets. Oversee planning, design coordination, site delivery and progress reporting. Drive strong cost control, forecasting and commercial awareness throughout the project lifecycle. Manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and rail partners where applicable. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and risk management procedures. Produce and review project documentation, including progress reports, work programmes and financial updates. Proactively identify challenges and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. About You: Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering civils projects. Rail infrastructure experience is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site operations. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, expenditure, change control and cost reporting. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
