Your new role
A growing, privately owned business in the South West is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of daily cash forecasting, strengthen visibility over future cash movements, and drive working‑capital improvements across the organisation.This newly created role sits at the heart of the finance function, working closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and external funders. You will oversee operations, ensure stock and asset purchases are appropriately funded, and provide clear, insightful reporting to support decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce andmunicate daily cash forecasts
2. Improve short and long‑term cash‑flow forecasting processes
3. Ensure vehicle/stock sales and purchases are accurately captured and appropriately funded
4. Manage supplier payment cycles and liaise with internal stakeholders
5. Prepare information for financiers and manage stock‑funding facilities
6. Partner with operations to identify and deliver working‑capital improvements
7. Support senior finance colleagues with analysis and modelling
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an analytical accountant, someone that has experience in a finance management / cash management role. You should be confident working with senior stakeholders and be able to influence decision-making. If you have experience in a stock-based or with an invoice discount, that would be advantageous. This role reports into the Head of Finance and is a standalone role, so you should be happy working autonomously.
