Maintenance TechnicianLocation: NewportShifts: Working days/shifts: 7-day Fortnight - 2 weeks of days 2 weeks of nights - 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00 - 07:00Salary: £54,000 + Overtime + Healthcare Programs, Discounts, Pension and other Company BenefitsAbout UsThis role is to be based at one of the UK's most well-known and iconic food production facilities. We are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers or Technicians to support primarily with Planned Maintenance but also including some Reactive Maintenance responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers utilising state-of-the-art machinery and join a business that is well known for it's career progress and technical development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesFixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motorsGeneral Mechanical work with the opportunity to upskill other areas of engineeringPlanning maintenance work for the weekend shifts on Monday and TuesdaySupporting with machinery breakdowns as neededAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance and will ideally have worked in the food production industry.Key Skills/QualificationsStrong Mechanical or Electrical skillsExperience in food production is ideal but not essentialHands-on experience with NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Elecrtrical engineeringExperience in a planned and reactive maintenanceIf this is of interest, please apply with your CV and a member of our team will get in touch!#talentsolutionsbisTPBN1_UKTJ
