Grounds Maintenance Operative (Full UK Driving Licence Required - Manual Vehicle)
Location: Derby
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Pay: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: Temp to Perm
The Employer provides a VAN and Fuel card, and the successful candidate will be working in a team of two. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable, full-time work with the potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General grounds maintenance including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, and litter picking
2. Use of power tools and machinery (e.g., strimmers, mowers)
3. Driving a company vehicle (manual transmission) to various sites
4. Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard with health and safety in mind
Requirements:
1. Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) - Essential
2. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor/manual role
3. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
4. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
