OUR SERVICE AND PEOPLE WE SUPPORT
We are looking for Specialist Support staff to join team in our Supported Living home based in the Birmingham area of West Midlands. Our supported living home supports 12 residents. The home has a communial hub for staff and residence to intereact and do daily activities such as weekly coffee mornings. karaoke days, movie days and much more. There is a spacious garden, which is used as part of activities for people we support. Service is managed by an experience Registered manager and has consistent staff that have worked there for many years.
THE ROLE
This role include support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may be supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon. Assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.
This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, their families and help each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood life. You will find yourself getting stuck into fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and an interactive and practical hands-on activity.

THE APPLICANT MUST BE BSL QUALIFIED WITH A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE.
