The Role
We are seeking a CIMA Qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions across multiple P&Ls within the group. You’ll ensure accurate reporting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and work closely with senior management to drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation and oversight of monthly management accounts across multiple entities within the group
2. Monthly analysis and reporting of financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
3. Assisting with budgeting and quarterly forecasting
4. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
5. Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
6. Preparation of additional financial information to support decision-making and business analysis
7. Implementing and improving financial processes and controls
8. Preparation of weekly Cash Flow forecasts
The Ideal Candidate
* ACCA or CIMA Qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge
* Degree qualified in Accountancy and Finance (or similar) would be advantageous
* Experience working in a multi-entity environment with multiple P&Ls
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders
* Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
* Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or similar sector would be advantageous
* Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
