Location: Bristol (BS32)
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday
Salary: £92.95 – £100.10 per day
About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate, confident and proactive individual to join a friendly primary school in Bristol as an Primary School Behaviour Mentor.
This role is ideal for someone who loves helping children thrive, supporting their learning, emotional wellbeing and day‑to‑day success in the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Primary School Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Support pupils across the classroom to stay engaged and confident
Work 1:1 or with small groups to help boost learning and social development
Provide calm, consistent support to children needing help with emotional regulation
Help create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment
Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging independence and resilience
Promote positive behaviour and model strong communication skills
Assist with general classroom support and pupil observations
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, coaching etc.)
A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
A calm, supportive attitude when dealing with challenging behaviour
A proactive, flexible and team‑focused mindset
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best
(SEN/SEMH experience is desirable but not essential.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
