Job Description:
The Range, a Sunday Times Top Track 100 company and one of the UK's fastest-growing privately owned companies, is seeking a Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Officer. With over 200 stores nationwide, we focus on investing in our staff and making the future extraordinary.
Job Purpose: This role involves working in the Loss Prevention department to identify, deter, disrupt, and apprehend offenders for theft, maintaining professionalism when dealing with conflict. The officer plays a crucial role in the identification, apprehension, and prosecution of criminals targeting our stores. Additionally, you will support your Security Team Leader by providing training and development to retail colleagues in Loss Prevention activities and objectives.
Accountabilities:
1. Deployed to high-risk stores to identify, deter, disrupt, and apprehend theft offenders.
2. Utilize CCTV at monitoring stations.
3. Generate detailed incident reports and collate evidence for criminal prosecutions.
4. Act as Loss Prevention Champion, conducting communication briefings and training.
5. Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
6. Be a subject matter expert for security initiatives.
7. Always adhere to company policies and guidelines.

Salary, Hours, and Requirements:
1. Competitive salary
2. Full-time permanent contract, 44 hours/week
3. Must be fully flexible, working 5 out of 7 days, with various shift patterns
4. Must be able to stand for long periods
