A long-standing independent accountancy firm commutable from Grantham, Newark, Lincoln and Nottingham are recruiting for a Practice Accountant to join their team. This is a key job role with excellent flexibility, hybrid working, and a supportive environment.
Responsibilities for a Practice Accountant include:
Producing finalised accounts including P&L, balance sheet and corporation tax
Drafting and submitting corporation tax returns
Preparing VAT returns
Supervising junior staff and managing outsourced workflow
Ad hoc payroll cover
What we’re looking for:
An experienced Practice Accountant with strong technical skills
Knowledge of Xero and TaxCalc is desirable
Ability to work independently and support junior colleagues
