Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Industrial IT Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IT systems that support industrial operations, automation, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between IT and operational technology (OT), ensuring reliable, secure, and optimized digital infrastructure for industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain industrial IT systems, including networks, servers, control systems, and industrial software.
Support integration of IT systems with industrial automation platforms (SCADA, PLC, MES, IoT devices).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement cybersecurity measures to protect industrial networks and sensitive operational data.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to align IT solutions with production requirements.
Manage software installations, updates, and patching for industrial applications and systems.
Support data collection, analytics, and reporting for operational efficiency and process improvement.
Document IT configurations, system procedures, and technical guidelines.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, IT/OT trends, and industrial standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or industrial IT/OT integration.
Knowledge of industrial automation systems, SCADA, PLC, MES, or IoT platforms.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and network protocols.
Proficiency with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and networking equipment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and operational teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, ProfiNet, OPC UA, EtherCAT).
Familiarity with data analytics, real-time monitoring, and predictive maintenance systems.
Certifications in IT or industrial automation (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, Rockwell, Siemens).
* Knowledge of IT/OT convergence and digital twin technologies.
