Business Development Manager – Green Hydrogen London / South East | £60,000–£70,000 commission benefits Hybrid working (3 days per week in the London office) A leading UK green hydrogen energy business is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support its growth across London and the South West, with wider UK market exposure. The company helps customers decarbonise heat, power, and mobility and is scaling rapidly. The Role You will lead the generation and closing of green hydrogen sales, directly contributing to near-term revenue while shaping long-term commercial strategy. This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to quickly understand customer technical, commercial, and financial needs. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across London, the South West, and the wider UK Build outbound sales activity and engage key decision-makers Develop and execute sales strategies and commercial models Generate, convert, and close deals across merchant and mobility hydrogen markets Establish long-term partnerships to drive repeat revenue Monitor market trends, policy updates, and competitor activity Represent the business at industry events and conferences About You Experience selling hydrogen, industrial gases, or power into plant or off-grid markets Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage long-term client relationships Commercial, strategic, and self-motivated Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Customer-focused problem solver Tender or leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.
