Our superb client with offices based in Huntingdon is seeking an IT Manager to join them on a permanent part-time basis, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role will be a hybrid position following training and induction, so you must live within an hour of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Technical support and query resolution
2. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting
3. Administration of SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, and other applications
4. Cybersecurity and security audits
5. Training end users
6. Maintaining infrastructure including WiFi, servers, website, backups, archiving, and network equipment
7. Liaising with stakeholders to meet IT requirements
8. Managing IT budget and inventory
9. System installations, software & hardware development and configuration
10. Purchasing equipment/software
11. Managing internal IT policies, procedures, access controls, and permissions
12. Booking equipment deliveries and other related tasks
To be considered, candidates should be seeking a part-time opportunity, able to work 10:30 - 15:30, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of disaster recovery, IT security, systems, and infrastructure. Strong knowledge of MS Office 365 and excellent communication skills are essential. The role may require some on-call duties outside contracted hours during urgent needs.
