Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Salon General Manager to oversee the growth and daily operations of our salon. As the Salon General Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining exceptional customer service, salon maintenance and most importantly achieving business growth goals. Your role is pivotal in creating a positive and thriving environment for both new and existing clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Develop and implement creative strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Field business development and promotional activities with influencers, wedding planners, and local businesses for cross-promotions. Ability to negotiate corporate deals within business guidelines.
* Financial Management: Manage the salon's budget, monitor financial performance, and make informed decisions to achieve revenue and profit targets.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate salon staff, including hair stylists, apprentices, and reception team, to ensure they maximise every client opportunity.
* Operations Management: Oversee daily salon operations, including client experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
* Client Satisfaction: Ensure clients receive top-quality services and address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
* Training and Development: One to one meetings with staff to ensure their continual growth within the business.
* Stock Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of hair products and salon supplies.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and requirements.
* Admin: Strong administrative skills with proficiency in managing schedules and filing weekly and monthly reports.
Qualifications
* 3 years proven experience as a manager or similar role (Required).
* Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue and profitability (Required).
* Proficient in Teams & Microsoft Office suite (Required).
* Strong knowledge of hair services and products (Desirable).
* Hair stylist qualification (Desirable).
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* A passion for the beauty and wellness industry.
* Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
