Your New SchoolHays Education is working in partnership with a supportive and well‑established primary school in Newcastle‑under‑Lyme. The school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. They are now seeking amitted Year 5 teacher to join their team full‑time.
Your New RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons to Year 5 pupils. Your duties will include:
1. Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
2. Using effective assessment techniques to monitor and support pupil progress
3. Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
5. Collaborating with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership teams
6. Maintaining strongmunication with parents and carers
7. Adhering to all safeguarding policies and ensuring pupil wellbeing at all times
What You’ll Need to Succeed
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Experience within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 preferred)
10. Strong classroom and behaviour management
11. A proactive and enthusiastic teaching approach
12. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills
