Expleo are actively recruiting for a Project Planner – Proposal Support to work on behalf of our renowned sports car client at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Norfolk. This contract opportunity will join their highly experienced team working with the wider Engineering department to develop project plans for third-party engineering opportunities, from initial concept through to handover.
Responsibilities of the Project Planner – Proposal Support role:
* Support creation of high-quality third party engineering proposals.
* Maintain consistency across project plans and proposal documents.
* Collaborate with PMO, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams on planning and proposal development.
* Administer and update the CRM, tracking proposal opportunities.
* Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to build activity and resource plans using MS Project and SAP.
* Provide accurate planning to support proposal resourcing and costings.
* Ensure project plans align with scope, resources, and timelines.
* Compile proposals from scratch or refine technical team inputs.
* Align technical inputs, plans, and proposal requirements for consistency.
* Verify assumptions, terms, and commercial elements meet policy and client expectations whilst coordinating proposal approvals through BPM systems.
Knowledge, skills and experience required for the Project Planner – Proposal Support role:
* Experience within an automotive or engineering environment.
* Experience or exposure to project planning and/or technical documentation.
* Proficiency with MS Power BI.
* Ideally educated to degree or HNC level in Engineering.
* Experience in proposal or bid preparation.
