Overview
Asset Performance (Flood Risk Assets) Team Member – West Midlands. An exciting opportunity to join the West Midlands Asset Performance teams, working predominantly across Gloucestershire & Worcestershire. The role involves both office (Tewkesbury, occasionally Kidderminster) and field work with an average of 3 days per week in the field and the rest in the office. Some flexibility may be available with manager agreement.

Responsibilities
* Manage assets by undertaking inspections, collecting data and assisting with planning future management requirements.
* Contribute to the continual improvement of asset data and information.
* Respond to incidents as part of an incident role, with training and workplace adjustments provided. Availability for incidents may attract additional payment.
* Work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel to sites within the designated area.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers; work collaboratively with field teams, local councils, charities and partner agencies.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence prior to applying and access to your own vehicle with business insurance.
* Ability to swim and reside within 45 minutes of base location (to support site visits and incident duty).
* Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team; good organisational skills and ability to use MS Office and bespoke IT packages.
* Excellent communication skills to work with a diverse range of people; a willingness to learn and apply new skills.
* Experience in flood risk assets or asset management is desirable but not essential. Degree or sector experience is not required.

Location & Availability
Based in Tewkesbury with some offices in the region; average field days per week 3. Candidates living more than 45 minutes from the base may not be interviewed.
