Social Media & Digital Ads Executive
who knows how to stop the scroll, spark conversation and turn engagement into passionate support.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing an overarching social media strategy in collaboration with the Digital Fundraising & Marketing Manager.
* Developing and executing social media campaigns to complement fundraising appeals.
* Leading the creation, delivery and optimisation of TLMGB's organic social media content.
* Managing all aspects of paid digital advertising, ensuring performance and optimisation and controlling budgets.
* Writing social media copy and creating graphics.
* Scheduling and supporting the creation of social media posts across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads) using Sprout Social.
* Reporting on social media campaign performance and implementing improvements, supporting strategic recommendations for content and targeting based on performance data.
* Collaborating with colleagues to create seamless digital journeys.
Skills and Experience
* Educated to A Level standard or with equivalent work experience.
* Proven written English skills and excellent communication skills.
* Strong social media copywriting ability.
* Experience running and optimising Meta or Google ad campaigns.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social).
* Ability to edit video and graphic content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
* Confident in interpreting analytics and using data to improve campaign performance.
* Creative and detail-focused, with an interest in storytelling for impact.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities to meet the needs of the wider organisation.
* Self-motivated with the capacity to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team.
* Understanding of the UK Christian landscape.
* Ability to work effectively across all faiths.

Salary:
£30,000 – £35,000 per annum.
Location:
Peterborough/Hybrid (two office days and three flexible days).
