About the role
As a brand‑new Master Production Scheduler at Safran Helicopter Engines UK, you will be the heartbeat of production planning, turning demand signals into a stable, achievable production plan for a highly complex aerospace manufacturing environment with long lead times, multi‑level BOMs and constrained resources. You will develop and own the Master Production Schedule, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality delivery to customers and directly influencing delivery performance, cost and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain and own the Master Production Schedule.
* Translate demand signals into a stable, achievable production schedule.
* Ensure timely, high‑quality delivery to customers.
* Build a critical production planning function from the ground up.
* Directly influence delivery performance, cost and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Degree‑level education relevant to the role.
* APICS CPIM certification or commitment to achieve it.
* Strong ERP/MRP experience.
* Deep understanding of MPS, CRP and S&OP.
* Experience in aerospace, defence, automotive or a similar regulated sector.
* Excellent Excel and analytical capability.
