The Deputy Manager will support the overall operations of the care home, working closely with staff to implement effective care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties
* Assist in managing daily operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
* Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of residents.
* Ensure that medication administration is conducted safely and in accordance with best practices.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for residents.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes resident dignity, independence, and well-being.
* Participate in staff training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
Skills
* Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is essential.
* Strong background in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
