This new squad is responsible for everything FX-related, including: Developing and managing our internal FX Blotter for reporting and trade visualisation. Building and enhancing our core currency exchange services. Spearheading the integration into partner bank FX platforms and liquidity providers. What You’ll Be Doing: Be the vital bridge between Business, Commercial, Operations, and Technology teams on the ideation, prioritisation, development, and delivery of core FX features and banking integrations within our platform. Actively contribute to the overall product strategy, deeply representing the unique requirements and opportunities within the FX and cross-border payments domain. Own, nurture, and meticulously manage the product backlog for the Orion (FX) squad, covering all areas related to banking partner integrations, cross-border payment flows, FX services, currency management, and related enterprise-level SaaS functionalities. Drive the creation and release of high-level requirements, epics, and detailed user stories that deliver demonstrable value, business impact, and exceptional customer experiences in the FX space. Collaborate intensely with engineering, design, and QA to ensure FX products are built to specification and high-quality standards. Champion the voice of the customer and the market, ensuring our FX solutions solve real-world problems for our global clients. Continuously monitor FX market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities. What We’re Looking For: ⚡ Experienced FinTech Product Owner (2 years): Solid grasp of global payouts, cross-border payments, FX, and APMs, with expertise in payment/FX operations, international banking, accounting, and reconciliation. ⚡ Strategic FX Innovator: Proven track record developing market-leading FX/international payment propositions that drive growth. Deep understanding of enterprise B2B SaaS (scalability, security, integration). ⚡ Integration & Agile Pro: Experienced in integrating with banking partners/FX liquidity providers. Agile/Scrum expert skilled in backlog management and sprint planning. ⚡ Master Collaborator & Influencer: Works seamlessly across diverse teams (engineering, sales, ops, compliance) and inspires stakeholders. ⚡ Analytical & Detail-Oriented Leader: Strong problem-solving skills, decisive, meticulous, and adept at translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements (epics, user stories). ⚡ Customer & FX Champion: The go-to for FX features, relentlessly advocating for the end-user. ⚡ Tool Savvy: Proficient with Aha! or similar roadmapping tools, Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart (or similar). ⚡ Bonus Points (Additional Desirable Skills): General familiarity with GitHub and build pipelines for microservices-based platforms. Solid understanding of JSON data formats. Experience working with RESTful APIs, including understanding endpoint usage for data exchange and appraising API documentation. Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed product documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria) that bridges business needs with technical implementation.
