Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage design and construction activities across a portfolio of rail infrastructure projects. This is a safety-critical role requiring Sentinel competencies (PTS) from Day One. You will be responsible for ensuring all works are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the required technical standards.
* Previous experience as a Project Engineer in Rail
* Valid Sentinel competencies (PTS & COSS) required from Day One.
* Proven experience managing engineering and construction activities within rail or a similar regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of CDM regulations, safety standards, and risk management processes.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage design and construction activities for allocated projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, specifications, and procedures.
* Implement company systems and processes to achieve cost-effective, high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible delivery.
* Lead and develop the engineering team, including rostering, training, and competency management.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements, including CDM regulations.
* Provide technical and project management support across all construction activities.
