The Digital Learning Product Manager, Content Libraries is a senior individual contributor within the Digital Learning & Talent Technology (DLTT) organisation, accountable for the product ownership, delivery, and operational management of Citi's enterprise digital learning content platforms. Operating with moderate to high autonomy, this role leads complex, cross‑functional initiatives and serves as the primary point of accountability for content library platforms, including vendor performance, roadmap execution, operational stability, and stakeholder outcomes.
The role requires deep functional expertise in learning technologies, strong execution discipline, and the ability to influence across Technology, Shared Services, Risk, and global stakeholders without direct authority. The VP Product Manager contributes to DLTT strategy through execution, insights, and recommendations, translating broader organisational objectives into scalable, compliant, and learner‑centric platform outcomes.
What you'll do
* Serve as product owner for assigned digital learning content platforms, accountable for platform health, enhancements, adoption, and performance.
* Translate DLTT strategy and stakeholder needs into a prioritised product roadmap, balancing learner experience, operational efficiency, risk requirements, and technical constraints.
* Make day‑to‑day product and configuration decisions within established governance frameworks.
* Independently lead large, complex initiatives or multiple concurrent workstreams, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and delivery risks.
* Own end‑to‑end execution from intake through implementation and stabilisation, ensuring commitments are met.
* Identify, escalates, and drive resolution of risks, issues, and control gaps in partnership with Technology and Operations.
* Manage strategic vendor relationships for content libraries, including performance oversight, roadmap discussions, issue management, and contractual adherence.
* Influence vendor priorities to align with Citi requirements while operating within defined commercial and governance boundaries.
* Evaluate and adopt new platform capabilities in alignment with business outcomes and operational readiness.
* Accountable for operational excellence across assigned platforms, including reporting accuracy, data integrity, integrations, and stakeholder communications.
* Partner with Shared Services and Technology teams to ensure stable operations, effective controls, and sustainable support models.
* Drive continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and reporting to increase transparency and efficiency.
* Act as a trusted advisor to learning, business, and technology partners, providing expert guidance on platform capabilities, trade‑offs, and risks.
* Use structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis to address issues and recommend solutions.
* Build strong working relationships across a matrixed, global environment, demonstrating sound judgement, influence, and professional diplomacy.
* Maintain strong awareness of learning technology and content delivery trends, applying insights to improve existing platforms.
* Contribute to innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance learner experience, analytics, and platform effectiveness.
What we'll need from you
* Experience in project, program, or product management roles.
* Experience working with learning platforms or content libraries.
* Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives involving Technology, Operations, and external vendors.
* Strong understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies; experience using delivery tools such as JIRA.
* Experience with enterprise learning platforms (e.g., Pluralsight, Udemy, Degreed, Docebo, or similar).
* Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to influence, build relationships, and operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
* Experience managing vendor performance and driving accountability.
* Operates with limited supervision, independently managing priorities and execution.
* Leads initiatives that are enterprise‑scale or globally impactful within a defined functional domain.
* Influences outcomes across multiple teams and vendors without formal authority.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
